Thank You Seedball Wildflower Box

£3.50Price

Say a big “Thank You” with these colourful seed boxes packed with bee and butterfly friendly wildflower seeds.

Priced per individual box - choose from Pink, Blue or Yellow.

Ideal as teacher gifts, wedding favours or general thank you presents, each box contains 6 seed balls to grow beautiful wildflowers in a window box, balcony pot or garden bed. Simple to use, no need for gardening expertise or even a need to dig!

Created by conservation scientists and 100% British made, Seedball is a unique innovation to help more people grow bee and butterfly-friendly wildflowers. They are manufactured in-house using a mixture of UK-native seeds, clay, peat-free compost and chilli powder to create a protective casing against seed predators (e.g. birds and ants).

They’re incredibly easy to use - scatter (no digging!) on top of soil, and with rain and warm sun, the seeds will grow!

Each seed ball contains approximately 30 UK wildflower seeds from a mix of Cornflower, Red Campion, Oxeye Daisy, Musk Mallow and Meadow Cranesbill.

One box will cover 1-2 pots (leave at least 10cm between each ball). Use 3 boxes per half square metre in a garden.

A little card is also included to explain what the balls are and how to use them, making them wonderful gifts.

Size: 5.8cm x 3.7cm x 1.5cm (small matchbox)

Best scattered in Spring or Autumn.

The last 50 years has been witness to huge declines in pollinators and other garden wildlife, but together we can really really do something to reverse this.

97% of natural bee and butterfly habitat has been lost in the UK since WW2. 97%. Ninety Seven Percent. It's frightening and critical.

With your help, we can start to restore the lost wildflower habitat and make an important contribution to the biodiversity of Great Britain 🌻

Emily & Ana, the creators of Seedball, are on a mission to help increase the abundance of British wildflowers and wildlife that depend upon them. They believe that if we can all better use whatever space we have available to us (whether a back garden, balcony, window box, little patio etc) we can together have a hugely beneficial impact on our local ecosystems.

They want Seedball to inspire a wildlife gardening revolution while providing a very handy way of going about it! Conservation is in the heart and soul of Seedball and one day we dream to fund their own Seedball wildflower reserves.
